I actually don't think I ever take the side of big business except when the Government gets involved. One they already tax the heck out of the consumer for cable TV and such, now they want to get in the internet Business. Ya thats what we need is higher prices to be passed along to the consumer. I am for governemt regulation/deregulation where needed. The last one that comes to mind is consumers being able to taking their phone # from provider to provider and being able to have it either as a mobile # or as a land line that was a good regulation. But when the governments idea's do not help the consumer and will cost them more money for the same service (hopefully the same and not worse.) This is not even considering that all data could and would be monitored thru this proposed infrastructure by the Government. Obviously if it costs Time Warner more money per connection it will trickle down to the consumer. The City Ohio gets money for every user it taxes they should be happy with that and let the free market be free to decide.
